ZOFO

We believe that one-piano-four-hands, or piano duet, is the most intimate form of chamber music with two players sharing one instrument and often one bench. There are great piano duet works from the classical and romantic eras and many awesome transcriptions of orchestral works from the beginning of the 20^th century, often arranged by the composers themselves. But following that period far fewer works for piano duet have been composed. We are both passionate about contemporary music, so one of our key missions as an ensemble is to commission and promote new masterworks for this genre.
